Miguel Latimer offers lessons on your horse (boarders or haul-in), and full training on a limited basis

He has extensive experience working with various breeds such as Trakaners, OTTB's, Arabians, Warmbloods, and Draft Horses. Every horse can benefit from dressage and Miguel can help bring out the best in each horse and rider combination.

Miguel started his horse journey in Eventing with Todd Trewin (Olympic Gold Medalist). After a tragic cross country accident, he had to take several years off due to severe spine and hip injuries. That's when Miguel found Iyengar Yoga and began healing his body and mind through Asana and Ayurveda. He then decided to become an instructor so he could help others rehabilitate from their physical challenges. Miguel holds the highest level of certification a Yoga Teacher can have and is also registered with the International Yoga Therapy Association and is considered a motion mechanics expert, which helps tremendously in any Equine riding sport.

He started riding Dressage and with his knowledge of motion mechanics has quickly risen up the levels. Miguel has had the honor of training with Lindsey O' Keefe (USDF Gold Medalist) , Kari McClain (FEI 4* judge and USEF 'S' dressage judge, USDF Gold Medalist and Freestyle Medalist), and has also ridden in clinics with Conrad Schuemacher, Lilo Fore, Karen Pavicic, Christophe Theallet, and Christine Traurig. Miguel continues to compete and train his horse Dominik up the levels. He is only two scores away from his USDF Gold Medal

While attending college she purchased a green broke QH named Chance. They competed in jumping and eventing, but found their true calling was dressage. She trained with Kari McClain (FEI 4* judge and USEF 'S' dressage judge, USDF Gold, Silver, Bronze Medalist and Freestyle Medalist) and Nicki Charbonneau (USEF ''r'' Dressage judge, USDF Silver & Bronze Medalist & Freestyle Bars, USPC Graduate 'HA') from 2015-2021 where she learned what is required to take a horse up the levels. She earned her first level scores on Chance and trained him up to 2nd level before he earned his retirement. Chance is now living out his retirement at Alexandra Stables. She has ridden in clinics with Lilo Fore and, Karen Pavicic.

Alexandra actively competes on her young KWPN Dutch Harness Horse Mare, Nina who she has owned since she was a weanling. Alexandra also competes on a 16 year old KWPN Dominick whom she plans to compete with to earn her Silver Medal.
