In the short period I’ve been riding with Miguel, he has helped me improve my dressage score by over seven points! I never thought my small quarter pony would be able to outscore the big fancy warmbloods, but with Miguel’s help we have done just that multiple times. As an eventer, it is important that my trainers know my horse and I have to wear many different hats. Miguel not only understands this, but has developed a tailored training plan for me and my horse that improves my dressage as well as my jumping. Miguel is also knowledgeable enough to give me exercises that can be done off the horse to improve my riding. Miguel’s training really addresses the whole package of horse and rider. I highly recommend Miguel and Alexandra stables to everyone I can and can’t wait to see how much my horse and I can achieve under Miguel’s program.

"My mare and I LOVE boarding at Alexandra Stables! The owners, Alexandra and Miguel, care for their client’s horses as if they were their own. Their horsemanship and level of care is the highest of quality! I’m so thankful to have my horse under their care. I groomed racehorses for years so my standards for horse care are high. I would recommend boarding here at any opportunity (spots are limited!) especially for anyone looking for a solid trainer. Miguel is a very accomplished dressage competitor and incredible rider/instructor. I enjoy the variety of riding areas between the indoor, outdoor, and groomed turf trails.
